Tirages, contrecollages et expositions photos
Contrecollage dibond et caisse américaine (exposition dans le Showroom Eden Park)
Habituellement, je vous parle des techniques de prise de vue et de préparation des fichiers. Cette fois-ci, j’ai décidé de vous parler de mon expérience de tirages et d’exposition. En effet, quoi de plus agréable que de voir ses photos en grand accrochées au mur !
Autant je connais bien la partie amont, autant il n’est pas simple au début de choisir les bonnes finitions et les bons formats selon ses besoins. J’ai rencontré la société Ma Belle Photo il y a 2 ans et je travaille avec eux depuis. Ils m’ont accompagné pour le choix des papiers (mat / brillant), des formats et des finitions (contrecollage sur dibond, contrecollage sous plexiglas / plexicollage, encadrement en caisse américaine…). Ils sont toujours de bon conseil pour mes expositions. Habituellement, une fois qu’on a calé la finition et le format, ils m’éditent un Bon à tirer de la photo afin que je puisse valider le rendu : les couleurs, bien sûr, mais aussi le contraste et la luminosité. A partir de la validation du Bon à tirer, je sais que les tirages seront parfaits. Je leur confie même l’expédition de mes photos pour les commandes à livrer en France ou à l’étranger.

- Pour les photos colorées : le plexicollage (contrecollage sous plexiglas). Le principe est de rajouter un plexiglas devant le tirage pour donner plus de profondeur à la photo et pour renforcer l’intensité des couleurs

A propos du formateur
Pour ceux quine me connaissent pas, je suis un professionnel de l’image, spécialiste de l’infographie et de la photographie artistique.
Passionné de cinéma, j’ai consacré plusieurs années à essayer de capter les plus belles lumières de Paris afin de révéler sa beauté architecturale et le charme de ses ambiances nocturnes. Mon objectif était de retranscrire ma vision de Paris « comme au cinéma » : Voir mon portfolio
Mon travail s’appuie notamment sur l’imagerie à grande dynamique (High Dynamic Range ou HDR) et sur le traitement logiciel des images.
La passion pour la photographie et pour la formation m’ont conduit à éditer 92 tutoriaux qui ont été téléchargés plus de 19.000 fois. Mes formations ont reçu une note moyenne de 4,4 / 5 (sur 1239 notes).

Le HDR (High Dynamic Range ou image à grande gamme dynamique) et le DRI (Dynamic Range Increase) sont des techniques permettant de se rapprocher de ce que voit l’oeil, avec des nuances aussi bien dans les zones claires que dans les zones sombres. En effet, les appareils photo ont du mal à exposer correctement à la fois les premiers et les arrière plans.
Le HDR consiste à associer automatiquement plusieurs photos de la même scène avec différents niveaux d’exposition tandis que le DRI (nouvelle technique issue du HDR) ne nécessite que l’utilisation d’un logiciel du type Photoshop.

Court métrage d’action réalisé avec l’iPhone 4S
Voici un court métrage/clip d’environ 2 minutes tourné entièrement avec un Iphone 4S.
Je voulais tester la nouvelle fonction de stabilisation de l’image intégrée à la vidéo. J’ai tourné ce court métrage dans la forêt de Fontainebleau, avec les belles couleurs de l’automne, j’ai pensé que c’était la bonne période pour faire cela.
Le film raconte l’histoire d’un jeune homme mystérieux avec des aptitudes bien spéciales. J’espère que cela va vous plaire !
Quelques spécifications techniques : Pour tourner d’une manière stable, j’ai utilisé :
- Le Smoothshot stabilizer http://www.smoothshot.co.uk/
- Et un Rig DSLR (épaulette avec poignée) acheté sur une ebay, et j’ai utilisé un petit gadget vendu à la fnac pour le monter dessus.
J’ai fait le montage avec Final Cut et l’étalonnage avec le logiciel de la société Red Giant Software : Colorista II et Looks II.

Je suis récemment tombé sur le travail d’un photographe américain Joel Grimes www.joelgrimes.com. Je suis tombé complètement dingue de son travail. J’ai essayé d’étudier son style, bien que j’en sois encore loin, j’ai fait les 2 images ci-dessus. Je suis assez content du résultat. Ce sont des montages réalisés par Photoshop, mais j’aime la puissance que cela donne au portrait, ce mélange de photo et de dessin, ces détails exagérément mis en avant, ce contraste fort et l’aspect dramatique.

Time Lapse Paris
Je me suis récemment intéressé à la vidéo Time Lapse. Le principe est de mettre l’appareil photo sur trépied et de prendre une photo toutes les 3 secondes, je les retouche sous lightroom et ensuite je les assemble avec Quicktime 7. Cela donne une accélération de temps assez sympa. Voici un tutoriel qui explique comment faire ici.

Clip contre la contrefaçon

Il y a quelques temps, Fabrice Guéroux et moi avons réalisé ensemble un clip contre la contrefaçon, pour aider son association qui lutte contre cela. D’ailleurs je joue dans le clip en anglais, c’était très drôle à faire. Aujourd’hui Fabrice et moi nous participons à un concours organisé pour la haute horlogerie. Le concours est basé sur un système de vote, si vous pouvez me donner un coup de main et voter pour la vidéo en cliquant sur l’image ci-dessus ce serait top. Si vous aimez bien sur !
C’était une de mes premières vidéos réalisées avec le Canon 5D Mark 2 et montées sur final cut pro.
